 Registering your machine
with the DVLA
The VMCC is authorised by the
DVLA to process applications to retain original registration numbers,
providing you have the relevant documentation. Our Statement of Search
will assist with obtaining an age related registration number or to gain
concessional vehicle excise duty. Contact the Club Library for further information.
The club has over 130 very experienced specialists who are available to
members assist with specific technical and historical aspects of most vintage
motor cycle marques.
Members have access to specialist companies
who provide moulded brake blocks and slab material for pioneer machines
and vintage, classic and obsolete motorcycle tyres, tubes and beaded edge
rims, often at generous discounts to VMCC Members.
The VMCC have arranged special discounted
rates for members to insure their machines over 15 years old which prove
very competitive. Re-coup
your membership fee in insurance savings alone, plus you can also save on your car, house and house contents insurance.
RAC Membership
Special discount RAC Membership rates for VMCC members saving you up to 25% every year.
Special off road cover (not normally offered in other membership packages)
is also available along with the waiving of surcharges for older machines.
