THE VMCC FESTIVAL OF 1000 BIKES, GET ON TRACK!

After another record breaking event in 2008 the VMCCs Festival of 1000 Bikes returns to Mallory Park on the weekend of 10th/11th/12th July 2009

With the support of Mortons Motorcycle Media, The National Motorcycle Museum, Footman James Insurance Brokers, Norton Motorcycles, Bonhams Auctioneers and the Ace Café & ERIKS the 2009 event promises to be another weekend to remember.

As in previous years the event gives enthusiasts the opportunity to ride their own machines in multiple track sessions over the weekend. Catering for all classes of machines from the earliest Veterans through to the machines of the super bike era this is a truly inclusive event which reflects the wide range of interests within the VMCC. With lesser noise restrictions on Sunday the Festival will again allow for riders to display their racing machinery in special track sessions running throughout the day.

It is now recognised that this unique event provides the best line up of “Past Masters” and famous machines assembled every year in the UK. Previously this has included many firsts such as the first public appearance of the New Norton NRV588 Rotary Racer plus no less than four ex-works Rotary Norton Racers that appeared at the 2008 event.

The 2009 event will be no exception as the continued assistance of Simon Hartland of the National Motorcycle Museum will help provide more unique machines and star riders than any other historic two wheeled event held in Europe. Click on the What's On 2009 link to discover the amazing Past Masters line up for the 2009 event and keep watching the site for regular updates.

Truly a Festival covering all aspects of Classic Motorcycling the event will also feature-
