Description
Make your own way The Ship Inn at Highley, WV16 6NU, for a sociable lunchtime meet from 12.00. In Highley, towards the south end of the village turn into Station Road, there is a Ship Inn sign at the junction. Follow that road past the Severn Valley Railway Engine Shed and Station, continuing downhill towards the River Severn, at which point turn left and the Ship will be ahead on your left, and the car park just beyond. Tables have been reserved for us to all sit together inside in an area at the back of the pub. Or if it's a nice day there is a veranda overlooking the river with many tables. These can't be booked but they open at 12.00 and there should be plenty free if sitting outside seems a good idea, just be sure to occupy a few tables next to each other. PLEASE NOTE: They prefer cash and don't want card payments for sums under £10.
