Description

The Route is quite simple – no roundabouts and no traffic lights – and long stretches between junctions. It’s 52 miles out to Binham with the majority of the first 40 miles on well-surfaced B roads.  The final 10 miles are back roads with several weird junctions. The return route is to Algy’s Farm Shop (and then return to Norwich direction)  is 15 miles on some nice flowing B roads. You can go straight back from Guist towards Dereham at the staggered junction(Grid square 8). Lunch at The Chequers Inn, Binham.

The event will be based at Bickers Action, Ivy Farm House, High Street, Coddenham, Ipswich, IP6 9QX. The entrance to the site will be sign posted from the B1078. Please follow the signs as the road in the village is small. Campers can arrive anytime after 12.00pm on Sunday 5th July, participants will be able to camp overnight or visit on any of the days. The field has one permanent toilet and we are hiring in additional toilets and a shower. NOTE there is no electric hookup. The campsite will close on Monday 12th July at 11.00am. Monday 6th July to Saturday 11th July ride outs each day. All routes are between 60 and 90 miles. All routes are via route sheets, but there should be someone for you to follow if you are not confident with these. All route will be available from sign in, and you can select which route you do on which day. Planning is still in progress so watch the website for updates

The South Cotswold Section has its Club Night on the first Tuesday of the month at the Hunter's Hall Inn at Kingscote (GL8 8XZ). Gather from around 6.00pm. Any formal business is conducted at around 7.30. There are no charges made at any of our normal meetings, but on Club Nights we do request a purely voluntary donation to Section funds.
