Description
A long ride of about 150 miles, combining some classic Welsh passes. The route is mainly on fast roads, and so a quick reliable bike is essential. Starting at J and S, and into Wales for a tea break at Rhug, before a fast ride all the way down the A5 to Capel Curig. Then down the Nant Gwynant pass for lunch in Beddgelert. Next skirt around Mount Snowdon along the Nant y Betws pass then up the Llanberis pass. Back along the A5 to Cerrig y Drudion and through the Clocaenog forest to Ruthin. Then up the Nant y Garth pass, over the Llandegla moors and for afternoon tea at the Old stores, Pontblyddyn. Folks can make their own way home from here.
