"Tiddler" Run - for smaller/slower machines

Event dates

Location
Stonehouse car park GL10 2NG

Organising section
Categories
  • Section run
  • Suitable for low powered machines
Description

Neil Lewis (current National VMCC Chairman) Is keen to keep runs available for older/smaller/slower bikes. He includes mopeds in that, but we rather envisage girder bikes and BSA Bantam/small Japanese sort of thing happy at 30-40 mph. It’s an experiment really, to see if you have an appetite for such an event. The run will use small roads where ever possible and end at the Black Shed Café, which is also the month's Cafe meet. We will sort out a route on the smaller lanes of 25 miles or so. Gather from 9.30 at the start point, Stonehouse car park, from which we will depart at 10.00am sharp. There will be an agreed route and a run leader, with stops at suitable intervals. You will be expected to sign on and indicate that you are aware of identified risks and mitigations relating to the run and the route. For further information, event pictures and sometimes details of late changes, please see the South Cotswold’s own website at https://sites.google.com/site/vmccsc/home
